News Alert: Yellow Fever Vaccine Shortage

There is a nationwide shortage of single unit dosed Yellow Fever vaccine.  Sanofi Pasteur (the manufacturer) is moving their plant operations and has a temporary shortage of the unit dose presentation. The vaccine is still safe and effective.

Passport Health stocks the Yellow Fever Vaccine in the 5 dose vial presentation, but it must be used within one hour of reconstitution. We are scheduling Yellow Fever Vaccine clinics of 5 persons per hour to accommodate our clients. Please call us now to be scheduled for a Yellow Fever Vaccine clinic at our offices:

Also, Bolivia has updated their Yellow Fever requirements. It is now mandatory to have a yellow fever vaccination prior to entry.

  • Any person older than twelve (12) month travelling to Bolivia, must bear the International Yellow Fever Vacination Certificate. If a pediatrician or primary physician decides that for health reasons a person cannot receive a Yellow Fever vaccine, they may issue corresponding certification. This certification must be translated into spanish and the passenger must hold a copy of both Certificate and tranlation, to be submitted before Bolivian Immigration Authorities.
